— Four people died in India’s Delhi after they fell into a sewer line and got trapped there, confirmed a senior official of the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) on Wednesday.
The four victims fell into the sewer line in North-West Delhi’s Rohini area, while they were laying telephone and broadband cables of the government-owned telecom company Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited.
The mishap occurred on Tuesday evening, and their dead bodies were recovered during a rescue operation that continued through the night, added the DFS official.
