A 7.7-magnitude earthquake jolted the Loyalty Islands in the Pacific at 10:57 a.m. Friday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).The epicenter was monitored at 23.1 degrees south latitude and 170.7 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 10 km, the CENC said.
